Well ive missed you guys! Been busy with work. But I got off early today at lunch to check this out. A friend of mine has a friend who just bought this. A 2011 12C.
Thing is absolutely amazing. No idea how he paid for it. But I've never been so jealous in my life. He's my age by the way. 21 or so.
UPDATE
Well, where to start. I figured out how he got the car. Credit card fraud. I found out today that the kid who had the car stole it. Pretty amusing. Not so jealous anymore. He's was pulled over today and has bail set at 100k. OUCH.
Here's the link if your interested

Wait...he stole a credit card and used it to buy a $240,000 car?! I didn't even think most dealers would take a card, but did he really think he'd get away with taking THAT much at once?!

LOL I'm not totally sure how he did it. Probably a down payment or something idk. He also rented out a $12 million house I believe it was. Idiot

Lol. This has to be one of the dumbest things I've read in a while. You rent a high end car using a stolen card but then don't return it and continue to drive it... Don't you think if they can afford a $240k car they can afford GPS tracking??? oh and you rented a $27MM house... Did you plan to squat there after your rental agreement was up? HA

They let a 21 year old buy a quarter of a million dollar car, entirely on a credit card?
Wat.

Practically you would want to steal lots of credit card numbers and launder the money though various purchases. You could set up a P.O. box with a fake ID and Social Security deposits. You would do this several times and every time order something absurdly expensive to sell legitimately (jewelry, rare baseball cards, etc). After this has happened they have no way of tracing the P.O. box back to you. Rinse and repeat.
Though this is all just pure conjecture and I'm sure there are issues with this plan.

I know. I have no idea what he was thinking. He's got to be pretty damn stupid. And so are the companies who let him do it.

You can't use a credit card as a down payment, it's illegal. Can't borrow money to borrow money

Wow, I think I've seen that car before. I believe it's owned by Club Sportiva of San Jose, CA, (an exotic car rental company).
